An Example of How an Unlimited One Month Sequence of Email Tarot Readings Might Look:
From J (actual name redacted): Hey there, my name is [J], born on March 8, 1988. I've had a rocky romantic history with on-again, off-again relationships, and I'm currently taking a break to focus on personal growth. I'm wondering if the tarot can offer guidance on when the right person might enter my life, considering my past patterns and the importance of this self-discovery phase. Can it provide insights into the timing of true love for me.
Day 1: Hello J, thank you for reaching out. Let's work on your life together! I drew the 8 of Pentacles. The 8 of Pentacles depicts a person diligently working on a task, focusing on craftsmanship and skill development. It suggests a period of dedicated effort and honing your abilities. In the context of your romantic journey, this card encourages you to continue investing in your personal growth during this break, rather than seeking the right person by a specific date.. True love may manifest when you've refined your own emotional craftsmanship and established a strong foundation within yourself. Stay committed to self-improvement, and the right person may enter your life when you least expect it. The key lies in patience and persistence in your journey of self-discovery. Trust the process, and love may find its way to you when you're truly ready.
From J: What sort of activities or interests will give me the best 'self-improvement'?
Day 2: Hello J, I drew the Emperor. The Emperor card embodies authority, stability, and structure. Depicting a figure on a throne, it signifies a time for you to establish a solid foundation in your life. Considering your rocky romantic history, focus on activities that promote self-discipline, leadership, and personal responsibility. Assume some responsibility for the previous 'rocky-ness!' Take up a 'Leadership Workshops or Course' or 'Physical Fitness such as Martial Arts'
From J: Thanks! I loved that idea. I've joined an Aikido class. Should I try to attract love in the class itself or just in 'normal life'?
Day 5: Hello J, Great going with the Aikido! I drew the Justice Card next. The Justice card illustrates a figure holding a sword and a set of scales, symbolizing fairness, balance, and impartiality. In the context of your question about the Aikido course, Justice suggests maintaining a balanced approach. While engaging in activities like Aikido, focus on your personal growth without specific expectations. Let connections unfold naturally both in your Aikido class and in 'normal life.' Embrace the principles of fairness and balance, allowing relationships to develop organically. Be open to possibilities without forcing outcomes, and remember that love may manifest when you're true to yourself and maintain equilibrium in your pursuits. Trust the process, and let connections emerge authentically.
From J: I find the aikido sensei a bit condescending and am thinking of giving up Aikido (but don't really want it because it is fun) what does the tarot advise.
Day 10: Hello J, thank you for sharing. I'm sorry to hear about the Aikido Sensei. I drew the 2 of cups. The 2 of Cups illustrates two figures exchanging cups, symbolizing a deep connection and mutual understanding. In the context of your Aikido dilemma, the card suggests nurturing relationships that bring joy. Consider addressing your concerns with the Aikido sensei openly and honestly, fostering a harmonious connection. If the situation remains challenging, explore ways to maintain the fun aspects of Aikido while also seeking additional sources of support and camaraderie from others in the class.. Ultimately trust your instincts and so if the class is not enriching your life, do consider withdrawing.
From J: The Aikido sensei apologized and is treating me better now, and I'm really enjoying the class, but I still don't feel any closer to the 'right person entering my life'. What does the Tarot advise?
Day 17: Hello J, I'm sorry you don't feel any closer to finding the right person in your life. I drew the 7 of Swords in response to your question. It shows a figure carrying stolen swords, suggests a need for caution and strategic decision-making. In the context of your journey, it indicates a potential need to reassess your approach to finding the right person. The card urges you to be mindful of any deceptive influences, whether internal or external, that may hinder your progress. Reflecting on your previous readings, the 8 of Pentacles emphasized dedicated effort and skill development, suggesting patience and trust in the process. The Emperor highlighted the importance of stability and self-discipline in your self-improvement journey. Justice urged you to maintain balance and allow connections to unfold naturally. Now, with the 7 of Swords, it's essential to be vigilant about any of your own deceptive patterns or beliefs that might be hindering your progress? Consider whether there are aspects of your own approach that need adjustment. As the Aikido sensei is treating you better, it's a positive sign that addressing concerns can lead to positive changes. Continue enjoying the class, but also be open to connections beyond it. The right person may come from unexpected places. Be patient, stay true to your path of self-discovery, and trust that the universe is guiding you towards meaningful connections. Warm regards,
From J: Thankyou for these readings, and they have been very supportive to me, but I'm just feeling low in my life at this point. That the right person isn't going to enter my life. What can I do to try to change this? I'm feeling desperate. Day 20: Hello J, I acknowledge the challenges you're facing, and your feelings are valid. To this I drew the Page of Cups. The Page of Cups brings a message of emotional exploration and fresh beginnings. Considering your ongoing Aikido journey and previous advice, let's delve into a more specific action. The Page of Cups encourages you to express your emotions authentically. In the Aikido class, try initiating casual conversations with your fellow practitioners, especially any of those that might have romantic potential. Share your thoughts on the training, express gratitude for their support, or even suggest a collaborative practice. Engaging with your Aikido community in a more personal way aligns with the emotional growth suggested by the Page of Cups. By fostering connections within the setting you already enjoy, you not only enrich your Aikido experience but also open the door to potential meaningful relationships. Continue to enjoy the class, but take that extra step to try to connect on a more personal level with someone who spikes your interest. Trust in the process of self-discovery within this community, and meaningful connections may naturally unfold. Warm regards,
From J: Hey... I got talking to Arron, who is new to the Aikido club too, and there was definitely something there. He's asked me out for a meal in a restaurant. What shall I do
Day 27: Hello J, That's fantastic news! And guess what, I drew the Knight of Cups. The Knight of Cups embodies the essence of romantic gestures, emotional depth, and pursuing one's heart. In the image, the Knight rides a horse, holding a cup, symbolizing a quest for emotional fulfillment and romantic pursuits. In the context of your current situation with Arron, this card suggests an invitation to explore the depths of connection and emotions. Given the Aikido class and your journey so far, the Knight of Cups encourages you to embrace this opportunity. Accept Arron's invitation for a meal with an open heart. Allow the conversation to flow naturally, and express your genuine self. This aligns with the emotional exploration recommended in your recent Page of Cups reading too. Remember, the Knight of Cups embodies a romantic and empathetic spirit. Enjoy the meal, engage in heartfelt conversations, and be receptive to the emotional potential within this budding connection. Warm regards,
From J: The meal went really well. Aaron and will be seeing each other again, and that got me to thinking that I'll be spending more money, and I haven't had a pay rise for years (and the cost of living is going crazy, in general). What does the Tarot think about me asking my employer for a pay rise now?
Day 31: Hello J, Your relationship with Arron sound promising. For your financial question, I drew the Moon. The Moon has revealed itself, symbolizing a journey through the unknown and the realm of intuition. The tarot Moon casts light on a path, revealing both clarity and uncertainty. This mirrors your current situation—a mix of positive emotions and financial concerns. The Moon encourages you to trust your instincts and navigate through uncertainties with confidence. Now, with your thoughts on a pay raise, align this request with your achievements. The Moon advises you to acknowledge both the known and unknown aspects of your professional journey. Clearly articulate your contributions and express your aspirations for growth. In this negotiation, be open to the intuitive cues of timing and choose a moment when both you and your employer are receptive. Trust in your instincts and present your case with confidence. Warm regards,
How I Perform a ‘Tarot Reading by Email’
Reviewing the Request: I read the question sent to me by the prospective client carefully. I ask myself whether it is one I might be able to help with. There are various questions I’ve clearly labelled as off-bounds (pregnancy medical, demonic etc) on this web-page; but, sometimes a client can ask something I am still ethically conflicted with but hadn’t thought to ban. When such a scenario arises, I will politely reply to the person that unfortunately this is a reading I would not be comfortable making. I might guide them to other non-psychic professionals.
Clients can sometimes ask questions that are ambiguous and I’m not sure exactly what situation they are in, or what answer they seek. I would then reply to the person asking for clarification from them.
It can help me if a client thinks carefully about what question(s) to ask. They should make the question clear and understandable, not rambling and convoluted. Don’t use acronyms or slang... use proper words with clean meanings. A specific question like ‘How is my romantic relationship with Gary likely to develop’ is more useful than ‘what for love?’ Some people try to jam in many more questions than they are allowed (I tend to reject those).
Arranging payment: I purposefully don’t have a ‘pay now’ button on my web-page because I only accept payment once I have decided I will be comfortable working with that person and their question. When that is the case, I send them details of my paypal address.
Preparation Time: I enter our spare room, place some relaxing or environmental (light rain/ gurgling stream) music on the computer. Read the question again, and then just look out at nature beyond the window. Perhaps the wind is rustling the leaves, or birds are flying in flocks overhead. Perhaps a cat is walking on a nearby wall or a flower has just come into bloom. In short, I consciously view the question, and then turn my conscious elsewhere to allow my unconscious some power.
Drawing the cards: When I feel at ease, I shuffle the tarot deck, and then draw a card. At this point I am not thinking about hopes/fear or future or obstacles. I just have the question in my conscious and unconscious –and draw a card.
Doing the reading: Once the card is on the wooden table before me, I again read my ‘clients’ question, and start considering the cards that has appeared. I will consider the card to have arrived in the 'Upright' Position. I type quickly on my computer, not worried about spellings or grammar. I am focused on getting the meanings that come to me, written down in some fashion.
Writing the reply to my client: I tidy up my writing. I make my reply legible and place it within a pre-formatted reply template. I then send my answer to my client.
